MATERIAL. Island opposite of Khabarovsk on Amur River , 21–22.VIII 1979, 8 ex.

(Nartshuk); Amurzet, 30.VII 1981, 1 ex. (Kaspsryan).

DISTRIBUTION. Transpalaearctic species, known from British Isles to Russian Far East.

NOTES. Occurs on common reed beds. Larvae phytophagous, live in yang shoots of

Phragmites australis forming galls.
