Type material. Holotype: male ( SNUC), China: Zhejiang Prov., Lishui City, Qingyuan County, Baishanzu N. R., alt. 1500m, 22–23-XI-2008, Liang TANG & Feng ZHANG leg.

Description. BL 5.3 mm; FL 2.6 mm.

Similar to Q. yanbini , but differs in the following characters:

Pronotal disc and abdominal tergites 3 and 4 (first two visible) reddish brown ( Fig. 9 View FIGURES 9 – 15 ).

Male. Sternite 8 ( Fig. 10 View FIGURES 9 – 15 ) with narrow, rather shallow, subarcuate medio-apical emargination; sternite 9 ( Fig. 11 View FIGURES 9 – 15 ) with apex narrowly arcuate; tergite 10 ( Fig. 12 View FIGURES 9 – 15 ) irregularly subtruncate apically. Aedeagus ( Fig. 13, 14 View FIGURES 9 – 15 ) small; median lobe gradually narrowed anteriad, with subacute apex. Paramere reduced into a triangular thin sheet, extending to the apical 1/3 of median lobe; lacking setae and sensory peg setae; inner sac as in Fig. 15 View FIGURES 9 – 15 .

Female. Unknown.

Remarks. The new species may be distinguished from the similar Qu. flavicornis by the dark brown elytra, by the male sternite 9 with the narrowly arcuate apex, and by the male tergite 10 apically not emarginated.

Distribution. Known only from the type locality in Eastern China (Zhejiang).

Etymology. The specific epithet is derived from the type locality.
