Scrobipalpa spumata ( Povolný, 2001) View in CoL , comb. n.

(Fig. 3)

This species was described in Euscrobipalpa Povolný, 1967 , which has been treated variably as a subgenus or genus by Povolný (2002). Since the type species of Scrobipalpa Janse, 1951 ( Gelechia heliopa Lower, 1900 ) and Euscrobipalpa Povolný ( Bryotropha indignella Staudinger, 1879 ) are extremely similar morphologically, we consider the latter to be a synonym of Scrobipalpa . Therefore, we place spumata in Scrobipalpa : Scrobipalpa spumata ( Povolný, 2001) , comb. n. The species was described on the basis of a female collected in Tuva ( Russia) in June. The holotype is illustrated by Povolný (2002: Farbtaf. 4, fig. 17; Taf. 65, fig. 620). The specimen collected in Korea is identical to the holotype in the head, palpi, thorax coloration, and pattern of forewings. Hence, we assume it is conspecific.

Male genitalia (Figs. 9, 10). Uncus rounded at apex, without hollow on posterior margin. Gnathos very small, gently arched, with culcitula at base. Cucullus slightly dilated basally and distally; apex about same level as apex of uncus. Sacculus relatively strong, curved medially, slightly dilated before bill-like apex, about 0.2 length of cucullus. Vinculum with small narrow processes, curved outwardly; the triangular cut between them not approaching the middle of the vinculum length. Saccus triangular; base about twice as wide as posterior part, extending beyond anterior parts of tegumen. Aedeagus inflated basally, 1.6 times width of distal part; distal part more heavily sclerotized, especially ventral side; with sclerotization extending into ventral triangular plate; cornutus small, shorter than width of distal part of aedeagus.
