Material examined. Syntypes. Two males, on slide “ Cuba 201a N12”, Cuba: 201, Prov. Camagüey, Sierra de Chorillo, 16.07.1970, leg. A. Borhidi.

Diagnosis. Most dorsal setae long, needle-like, posterior part of dorsal shield with one pair of wide well sclerotised areas, which bear ten pairs of smooth setae, these setae longer than dorsal setae. Dorsal shield with one pair of long setae A and three pairs of long setae P. One pair of small well sclerotised areas located near setae P. Anterior region of well sclerotised areas with one pair of long setae, posterior region with three pairs of long setae and one pair of small well scelerotised areas. Marginal and dorsal setae shorter than dorsal setae, smooth and needle-like. Dorsal and marginal shields without ornamentation.
