Dromaeolus badius (Melsheimer) . This primarily eastern species was found for the first time in Oregon, Umatilla Co., 9 mi SE Echo, above Umatilla River, ex wood Populus trichocarpa Torrey & Gray View in CoL collected 6V87, emgd. 11V to 8VI87, RLW (ODAC, OSAC, & J. Muona coll.). The wood was from trees infested with Agrilus granulatus View in CoL populi Fisher (Buprestidae) View in CoL . Of interest is that Muona (2000) recorded it “bred from poplar” in Idaho, then later ( Muona 2002) stated that the genus is “absent from western regions”.
Hylis irvinei Muona. Muona (2000) listed two specimens from 5 mi NW of Newberg , Washington Co., as being deposited in RLWE . In fact, these are paratypes in the ODAC .
