Distribution. North Palaearctic ( Caldara 2013b)

Material examined. Kharkiv Prov.: 1 spec. ( KUMN) Bezlyudivka, near Udyanka railway station, B.M. Loboda leg., 19.vi.2010 ; Rivne Prov.: 1 spec. ( SIZK) Sarny Distr., 9 km NE Klesiv, Somyne Lake , 61 q., forest, V. Yu. Nazarenko leg., 15.vi.2008 ; Vinnytsia Prov.: 1 spec. ( KUMN) 18 km N of Vinnytsia, near Salnyk, Trapeznikova leg., 5.viii.1997 ; Zhytomyr Prov.: 2 spec. ( KUMN) Novohrad-Volynsky env., Mikhailov leg., 15.v.1909 .

Biology. Forests. Adults occur in IV–VIII. On Pinus spp., occasionally on Picea spp. ( Pinaceae ) ( Smreczyński 1972; Dieckmann 1988).
