Diagnosis. The species is superficially very similar to T. spinesigna , and the differences between two species are stated under the latter species. The male genitalia are closely related to those of T. spinesigna and T. cornuata in having wrinkled asymmetrical valvae, but the valvae of T. angusteproducta are much narrower than the latter. Also, the left valva is not distinctively broadened on costa as in these two species. The female genitalia of T. angusteproducta are characterized by the linear extension of signum.

Description. Adult ( Fig. 9B View FIGURE 9 ). Wingspan 7.5−9.0 mm. Head light yellow to golden ochre, rarely mixed with dark fuscous. Labial palpus light yellow to golden ochre; segment II often suffused with black on ventral surface apically; segment III as long as II, black on ventral surface. Antenna with scape light yellow to golden ochre, fuscous on posterior margin; flagellum dark fuscous to black except basal 1/2 or 1/3 of dorsal surface golden ochre, male cilia shorter than diameter. Thorax dark fuscous except lateral margins light yellow to golden ochre. Tegula light yellow to golden ochre, fuscous along anterior margin, sometimes anterior 1/2 fuscous. Forewing ground color light yellow to golden ochre, mixed with dark brown and fuscous apically; apical spot often bordered inwardly by white scales; markings fuscous to black: a broad band from base to near apex along costa, interrupted by two yellowish costal streaks at middle and at distal 1/4 of wing, respectively; first costal streak obliquely running to distal 1/3 within costal band; second costal streak mixed with white posteriorly, obliquely running toward apical spot, nearly reaching posterior end of costal band; a broad band on dorsum from base to basal 2/3 of wing, attenuated beyond middle; a narrow, outwardly oblique streak arising from former band, extended from distal 1/2 to 1/3 or 1/4 across wing, usually not reaching costal band distally; an inwardly directed, V-shaped marking in distal 1/3 above fold, nearly reaching apical spot anteriorly, reaching near tornus posteriorly; a short tornal streak bordered inwardly by a white streak, anteriorly reaching former V-shaped marking; fringe on costa, termen and dorsum dark fuscous, slightly tinged with white above apical spot, mixed with white at apex medially, slightly mixed with dark brown on termen. Hindwing and legs as in T. spinesigna .

Male sternum VIII ( Fig. 24E View FIGURE 24 ). Approximately 1/6 length of abdomen, posterior 1/2 melanized; posterior apex broadly concave, leaving two short tines bilaterally.

Male genitalia ( Fig. 33A View FIGURE 33 ). Uncus sub-pentagonal or oval, widest at middle, rounded at apex; distal 1/2 with long setae laterally. Gnathos hook long, simple. Tegumen approximately 4 times as long as uncus. Valva slender, slightly asymmetrical, with left valva somewhat broader than right valva in basal 2/5, costa wrinkled from basal 2/5 to 4/5, rounded at apex. Anellus lobe very small, ovate, usually constricted at base, with long setae along lateral margin; apical bristle weak, 1.5 times as long as anellus lobe. Juxta with a subtriangular projection at base of inner margin. Vinculum simple. Saccus broad, subtriangular, blunt at apex, as long or slightly exceeding tegumen pedunculus. Aedeagus with basal 2/5 dilated, then gradually narrowing toward blunt apex, distal 1/5 strongly curved upward.

Female genitalia ( Fig. 50C View FIGURE 50 ). Papillae anales moderately sclerotized. Apophyses anteriores 2/3 length of apophyses posteriores. Tergum VIII weakly sclerotized medially. Sternum VIII longer than tergum VIII, concave on posterior margin; a widely oblong or quadrate sclerotization above ostium bursae; anterior 1/3 weakly sclerotized except anterior margin. Ostium bursae opening at anterior 1/3 or 1/2 of sternum VIII. Ductus bursae very slender, slightly broadened at base; a short, teardrop-shaped sclerite near base; ductus seminalis arising from posterior 1/7. Corpus bursae ovate, 2/5 length of ductus bursae; signum situated in posterior 1/3; basal plate small and round, with a short thorn-like process, posterior margin narrowly elongated to entrance of corpus bursae as a sclerotized line; appendix bursae clavate or elongate ovate, longer or shorter than corpus bursae.

Variations. The size of corpus bursae and appendix bursae and the position of signum can vary.

Distribution. China (Fujian, Guangxi, Guizhou, Henan, Hubei, Hunan, Sichuan, Xizang, Yunnan, Zhejiang).

Etymology. The species name is derived from Latin, anguste (narrowly) and productus (extended), referring to the linear extension of the signum.
