[ Type: USNM; ♂ by the acequia, close to Schaublin’s mill, Las Cruces, New Mexico, USA; August 24, 1894] Hylaeus mesillae is widely distributed across North America , however within the BCP it has only been collected in the Coastal Sage Matorral. We reviewed one female collected in Santo Tomas in February 1958 ( CASC). Additionally, the BBPT collected two males in Maneadero at Ejido Melendrez in September 2020 and March 2021 ( MABC).
