Purement occidentale, va de la Cote de l'Or au Congo. 2 ouvrieres de Bl.28, ravin I du Mont To, sont rattachables a la var. waelbroecki FOREL LSID , du Congo, a part leur teinte plus foncee. Une autre ouvriere du meme ravin, station B2 41, a petioles jaunatres et lisses represente une variete nouvelle.
