2. Delineatia delineata ( Walker, 1854) :487 488
= Hypocrita rhodina Herrich –Schäffer, [1855]: 343
= Ammatho figuratus Walker, 1855: 759 View in CoL
= Cyme chinensis View in CoL C. & R. Felder, 1862: 36
= Ammatho fuscescens Butler, 1877: 343 View in CoL
= Miltochrista delineata f. coalescens Draudt, 1914: 138
= Miltochrista dimidiata Fang, 1991: 384
Type locality: Shanghai, N China
Distribution: India ( Matsumura 1930).
Remark: According to Volynkin & Černý (2017a) and as per the personal communication with Dr. Anton Volynkin , in any of the world museums with moth collections, no specimens of D. delineata could be found from India. Therefore, Matsumura’s Indian record of the species is most probably due to wrong identification.
3. Striatella fasciata ( Leech, 1899) :197
Type locality: Western China, Omeishan
Distribution: India ( Černý & Pinratana 2009).
Remark: The record for India is erroneous ( Volynkin et al. 2019) and needs further confirmation.
4. Barsine yuennanensis ( Daniel, 1952) : 79
= Miltochrista (Barsine) perpallida yuennanensis Daniel, 1952: 79
Type locality: China, Yunnan
Distribution: Sikkim ( Černý & Pinratana 2009).
Remark: Volynkin et al. (2019) restricted this species to China (Yunnan). Furthermore, no Indian specimen of B. yuennanensis could be found in any of the world museums having moth collection (Pers. Comm. Anton Volynkin ).
5. Miltochrista undulosa ( Walker, 1854) :545
= Miltochrista straminea Walker, 1856: 1685
= Sesapa excurrens Walker, [1865] View in CoL : 255
= Sesapa decurrens Walker, [1865] : 255
= Asura kangrana Strand, 1922: 801
Type locality: East Indies
Distribution: North West and North East Himalayas ( Strand 1922), Meghalaya ( Ghosh & Chaudhury 1998), Manipur ( Chaudhury 2003).
Remark: The first author dissected tens of the specimens of this group and none of them could reliably be identified as M. undulosa . As per the available information, it is most probable that the Indian population of M. undulosa group belongs to M. undunoides .
6. Stigmatophora strigivenata ( Hampson, 1894) : 99
Type locality: E[ast] Pegu [ Myanmar]
Distribution: Arunachal Pradesh ( Sondhi et al. 2021).
Remark: Identification is doubtful.
