Types.
The type material, with all specimens studied by Neumayr (1880), is lost. Neubauer et al. (2016c: 278) defined a neotype based on material from the type locality. The specimen is stored in the Geological-Paleontological Department, Natural History Museum Vienna, coll. no. 2014/0364/0013.
