Male genitalia ( Fig. 87). Socii with lanceolate scent scales; valva broad to middle; neck short, slender; ventral incision deep; sacculus broadly rounded; cucullus oval with indistinct ventral lobe; aedeagus large, slightly tapered terminally; caulis long.

Remarks. Described from the male holotype only. Although Brown (2005: 273) mentions that the type specimen is lost, it is present in the collection of RMCA. We provisionally place the species in Grapholita Treitschke, 1829 . The presence of coremata in the form of two tufts of long, lanceolate scales at the base of the male abdomen may indicate that it belongs in this genus.
