LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S): Host plants include: One Asteraceae species ( Helianthus sp. ) and one Aizoaceae species ( Tetragonia sp. ) in the Réunion; one Amaranthaceae species ( Achyranthes aspera L.) and one Aizoaceae species

( Trianthema portulacastrum L.) in the Seychelles; two Amaranthaceae species ( Amaranthus sp. and

Telanthera versicolor Regel ) in the Democratic Republic of Congo; one Brassicaceae species ( Brassica

sp.) in Uganda; and one Chenopodiaceae species ( Beta vulgaris L.), one Amaranthaceae species

( Alternanthera sp. ), one Chenopodiaceae species ( Kochia indica Wight ) and two Fabaceae species

( Vigna unguiculata (L.) Walp. and Glycine max (L.) Merr.) in an unnamed African country or countries.

According to the African Moths (2019) webpage, larvae of the taxon are polyphagous.

The wasp Trathala flavoorbitalis (Ichneumonidae) is a parasitoid of the taxom ( Rousse & Villemant

2012).
