Generitype of Artemisia Linnaeus (vide Green, Prop. Brit. Bot.: 180. 1929).

Current name: Artemisia vulgaris L. View in CoL View at ENA ( Asteraceae ).

Note: Vallés-Xirau (in Jarvis & al, Regnum Veg. 127: 21. 1993) independently made the same choice of type as Gabrielian & Chandjian.
