“Persia” ( Nevill 1884: 209), Iran.
Remarks.
Nevill (1884) first mentioned the name " acuticarinata " [sic] for an infrasubspecific taxon ( “subvariety”), which he briefly described. Paetel (1888) made the name available by ranking it as species-group name and referring to the description of Nevill (Art. 45.5.1). Although he obviously “misspelt” the name, ocuticarinata remains the valid spelling because Nevill’s " acuticarinata " is not available as species-group name.
