203. Ixodes schillingsi Neumann, 1901.

An Afrotropical species, all of whose parasitic stages are usually found on Primates : Cercopithecidae ; adults alone have been collected from Rodentia : Cricetidae and Sciuridae ; nymphs and larvae have been recovered from Primates : Galagidae . Ixodes schillingsi is a very rare parasite of humans.
