Type material. Male, holotype. [ Indonesia, Java] F. C. Dresher, G. Tongkoeban Prahoe, 4000–5000 Voet, Preanger, 14. x. 1930 ( MIZW).
Remark. C. longeareolatus belongs to the widely defined Cautires , but it does not remind in the shape of pronotum and male genitalia any of the here proposed species groups.
