Notes
Reported from Greece by Simboura (1996), Zenetos et al. (1997) (based on the same specimens); Identification confirmed by G. Bellan (pers. comm. in Simboura 1996). In the Mediterranean also known from France ( Bellan 1964a) and Turkey ( Çınar et al. 2014), otherwise known from the Atlantic coasts of France, Spain and from the British Isles. The Greek specimens differ from Atlantic ones by a reduced number of branchial pairs ( Simboura 1996).
