Distribution. Europe, Caucasus, Levant, North Africa ( Alonso-Zarazaga 2011a).

Nazarenko leg., 9.viii.2000 ; Sumy Prov.: 2 spec. ( SIZK) Stara Huta env., Desniansko-Starohutskyi National Park , near gate, sweeping, V. Yu. Nazarenko leg., 19.vi.2006 ; Volyn Prov.: 1 spec. (KrC) Shatsk Distr., Pishcha env., sweeping along channel, O. V. Kravchenko leg., 13.vi.1984 ; Zhytomyr Prov.: 1 spec. ( SIZK) Zhytomyr, G. Proschiga leg., 20.v.1927 .

Biology. Pine forests, sandy and ruderal habitats. Adults occur in IV–IX ( Dieckmann 1977). On Polygonaceae : Rumex acetosella ( Penecke 1928; Hoffmann 1958; Smreczyński 1965; Dieckmann 1977; Mazur 2002); R. acetosa ( Hoffmann 1958; Smreczyński 1965); R. patientia ( Hoffmann 1958) .
