Distribution. Korea (GN), Japan (Honshu, Shikoku, Kyushu, Ryukyus), South China and Taiwan.

Notes. Refer to Shimizu and Wahis (2004) for detailed validation of the name of Cyphononyx fulvognathus in eastern Asia. Matsumura and Uchida (1926) first record- ed this species in Korea under the name of Salius flavus .
