91. Formica placida View in CoL   LSID .

Female. Length 6 lines.-Head, antennae, thorax, legs and scale of the peduncle, ferruginous; the legs and thorax beneath palest; abdomen brown-black, smooth and shining; the head scarcely wider than the thorax, both slightly shining; wings subhyaline, the nervures pale testaceous; scale of the peduncle ovate, with a deep notch above. Abdomen ovate and impunctate.
