World distribution. Chile.
Chilean distribution. From Coquimbo to Los Ríos region ( Fig. 197 View FIGURE 197 ).
Altitudinal range. From valleys to precordillera ecosystems (390– 1,400 m.a.s.l.).
Biology and notes. Fragosa filiola has been observed visiting several native plants such as vira-vira Pseudognaphalium viravira (Molina) Anderb. and Alstroemeria aurea Graham (R. Barahona-Segovia, pers. obs.).
Conservation status. LC; EOO = 95,140 km 2, AOO = 64 km 2, 13 subpopulations and 15 localities.
