Material examined. Socotra , Wadi Ayev 10.IV.2008, B.Massa & A.Carapezza on Croton sp. (1Ƥ; 13, 1Ƥ subad. nymphs).
Remarks. It is considered quite common ( Wranik 2003). Antennae of this species are exceptionally long, up to three times of the body length. The ovipositor is much compressed along all its length ( Fig. 7 View FIGURES 1 – 7 ) and appears structurally much different from that of G. pileatus . Stridulatory ridges are much more evident than those of G. pileatus .
