Diagnostic characters. Vertex and labrum yellow, clypeus yellow to brown. Frons shiny brown. In male, antenna slightly curved with small teeth in basal part. Mesothorax and metathorax with yellow band. Legs reddish brown, Male ectoproct small, rectangular shaped with short caudo-ventral processus in lateral view. Sternite 9 triangular in shape, base slightly narrow than high, tip pointed, subacute. In ventral view, gonocoxite 9 arched and with pair of narrow evenly curved horn-shaped extensions, apices acute, wider at base with small projection directed inwards. Terminalia and genitalia as in Kimmins (1949: fig. 8).

Distribution. India (Maharashtra) ( Fig. 21 View FIGURE 21 ).

Flight period of adult. September ( Kimmins 1949) ( Fig. 22 View FIGURE 22 ).

Remarks. The label on the type specimen indicates the type locality is „Goregaon”, collector „Dr. Jayakar”, date „ 21.IX.1902 ”. Kimmins (1949) was uncertain about the actual location of the type locality and added a bracketed comment as „(?Gurgaon, Punjaub)”. Goregaon may be in Maharashtra, because the collector’s surname Jayakar is common in the state. Since the description, only the type specimens are known, and no new faunistic data have been published. We did not find any additional specimens from India.
