Hedysarum coronarium View in CoL L., Sp. Pl. 2: 750. 1753. [1 May 1753]
≡ Sulla amoena Medik., Vorles. Churpfälz. Phys.-Öcon. Ges. 2: 373. 1787., nom. illeg. ≡ Sulla coronaria (L.) Medik., Philos. Bot. 1: 209. 1789. [April 1789], comb. inval. ≡ Sulla coronaria (L.) B.H.Choi & H.Ohashi, Taxon 52(3): 575. 2003. [17 October 2003] Ind. Loc.:—“in Italiae pratis”. ITA Type (lectotype designated by Jafri in Jafri & El-Gadi 1980b: 139):—[s.l.]. Herb. Linn 921.57 (LINN). Note:— Choi & Ohashi (2003) indicate Sulla coronaria (L.) Medik. as the correct name. However, based on Art. 35.2 of the ICN, this combination was not established by Medikus. Despite this, these authors validated themselves the combination of Hedysarum coronarium under Sulla. Compiled by:—F. Conti
