DIAGNOSIS. This species differs from P. staudingeri Semper, 1901 by well-outlined yellow stripe on the hindwing.
DISTRIBUTION. Laos (new record). – India, Bhutan, China, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia (Sumatra, Java, Borneo), and the Philippines (Palawan) (Kononenko &
Pinratana, 2005; our data).
