Distribution. West Palaearctic ( Tryzna & Valentine 2011)
Material examined. Crimea: 1 spec. ( KUMN) 11 km SW of Feodosia, Koktebel , V. Gorbunov leg., 29.viii.1998 ; 1 spec. ( KUMN) Karadag Nature Reserve, Kara-Agach Mt. Range , T. Vodyanitskaya leg., 22.vii.1997 ; Kharkiv Prov.: 1 spec. ( KUMN) Budy, Yu. Skrylnik leg., 03.v.2014 .
Biology. Mixed forests and shrublands. Adults occur in VI–IX. On dry twigs of Rubus , Genista , Pinus ( Frieser 1981) .
Notes. Records from Luhansk Province ( Nazarenko & Moroz 2001; Nazarenko et al. 2003) are based on misidentification of Exechesops foliatus .
