TYPE LOCALITY: “ in Pedemontio [Piedmont ( Italy)]” .
TYPE MATERIAL: 1 ♂, syntype ( MRSN): [illegible label] / 331 / Yetodesia Rond. semidiaphana Rond., Alpi ; 2 ♂♂, syntypes ( MRSN): 3 68 / Yetodesia Rond. semidiaphana Rond., Alpi.
CURRENT STATUS: junior synonym of Phaonia cincta (Zetterstedt, 1846) View in CoL ( Pont 1986b: 119, Gorodkov et al. 1995: 12).
REMARKS: Rondani (1871a: 318) described Yetodesia semidiaphana from just the male sex, without specifying either the number or the length of the specimens: “ Mas raro lectus … a Prof Bellardi [Male rarely collected by L. Bellardi]. We found three syntypes in this study.
