Type material of Spheropistha xinhua (examined). Holotype ♀ (coll. no. Xh 1), CHINA: Hainan Island, Xincun Town, Xinhua Village , 3.IV.2011, leg. A. T. Barrion et al.; Paratype: 1 juvenile, same data as holotype. Description and diagnosis. See Zhu (1998) for a redescription and diagnosis of both sexes. Distribution. China (Hainan). Comments. The type material of S. xinhua was examined and no differences between A. zhui and S. xinhua could be distinguish, so we consider S. xinhua syn. nov. to be a junior synonym of A. zhui .
