Atractus punctiventris Amaral, 1932 .

Holotype ILS 102 (= actual number MLS 254 ) ( fig. 39 ), male.“ Procedente de Villavicencio ”. Brother Nicéforo María. Jan. 1937.

Remarks: The original description mentions its repository as the Butantan Institute; however, it is housed in MLS ( Passos et al. 2016). Specimen MLS 254 is hydrated and in good state of preservation.
