Type locality: Marco Island , Florida, United States (25º57’45” N, 81º43’45” W). Holotype — ZMH, K–30332. GoogleMaps

In Venezuela: at the following localities according to Broodbakker (1982, 1983b, 1984a): SUCRE State —WH 1936/?, Chacopata, Araya Peninsula (GN 10º40’37” N, 63º49’05” W). LA BLANQUILLA Island—S 1982/08b, open pit dug in clay, probably permanent, no locality details (GN 11°50’57” N, 64°36’06” W).

Remarks: geographical distribution of the species includes the Caribbean Islands, such as Antigua and Barbuda, Martinique, St. Kitts, St. Martin, Anguilla, Turks and Caicos, United States (Florida), Venezuela ( Broodbakker 1982, 1983b), Guatemala ( Pérez et al. 2010), and Mexico (Yucatan Peninsula) ( Cohuo et al. 2016).
