Distribution: MA to FL to AZ to UT. The few Kentucky specimens were taken in the central portion of the state (Map 130).

Comments: Attracted to lights.

Distribution: MA to FL to south TX to IA. The few Kentucky records are scattered across the state (Map 134). Kentucky counties: Fayette (1), Madison (4), Trigg (1), Warren (1), Whitley (1), nr (1)

Collections (7 records, 9 specimens): ABRC (1), BG (1), EGCCRC (2), UKIC (3), WKUC (1), iNat (1) Collection methods: Downed tree trunk (2)

Larval host plants: Betula nigra , Carya glabra , Celtis laevigata and Quercus spp. ( Monné & Nearns 2022c)

Comments: Attracted to lights and fermenting sugar. Adults can also be found on the trunks of their host trees after dark.
