Remarks. Illies (1963) assigned this widespread species to Mabille's Perla myrmidon on the basis of wing characters and body proportions described and illustrated in the original description ( Mabille 1891). The type specimen found in the NMPC can be treated as holotype ( Figs. 3–4 ), as the original description clearly refers to a single individual. The terminalia characters confirms Illies' assignation ( Fig. 5 ). One of the paralectotype of Perla infuscata belongs to this species.
