Records from India. ANDAMAN & NICOBAR ISLANDS: Dudong creek—Rao (1993); GENERAL RECORD: Naidu & Rao (2004).

Habitat. Marine, intertidal; medium sand rich in organic detritus, 10 cm below surface, near mid water level.

Distribution. India (Bay of Bengal).

Remarks. It has been recorded so far only from the Bay of Bengal, India.
