Type locality.

Ethiopia.

Distribution.

East and central Africa, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Cyprus, Malta, Syria, Israel ( Mazur 2011). Newly reported from Lebanon (Hasbaya, Badghan, Fanar, Deir El-Ahmar, Naas; Fig. 84 View Figure 84 ).

Biology.

Insufficiently known, according to our observations it is similar to its congeners. In our samples, we collected 149 specimens mainly during the active decay stage and several specimens in other stages of decomposition (Table 1 View Table 1 ).
