Etymology. The specific name is derived from the Latin word “faba”, meaning “bean”, and refers to the beanshaped spermatheca; adjective.

Diagnosis. This new species is similar to T. malaysiaensis sp. nov., but can be distinguished by the curved, sickle-shaped embolus ( Figs 8 View FIGURE 8 A–B, 9A–B) in the male, and the bean-shaped spermatheca ( Figs 8 View FIGURE 8 C–D, 11A–B) in the female.

Description. Male (holotype). Total length 1.22. Prosoma 0.48 long, 0.40 wide. Opisthosoma 0.69 long, 0.46 wide. Sternum 0.25 long, 0.27 wide. Prosoma yellow with a dark suffused area in the center. Legs, labium, and endites, yellowish. Six eyes. Chelicerae ( Fig. 10 View FIGURE 10 C) longer than endites, yellowish, with two teeth and three denticles on the promargin, and four small teeth on the retromargin. Palp and leg measurements: palp 0.56 (0.16, 0.05, 0.10, –, 0.25); I 2.72 (0.79, 0.14, 0.82, 0.54, 0.43); II 2.17 (0.62, 0.14, 0.56, 0.47, 0.38); III 1.79 (0.52, 0.14, 0.46, 0.38, 0.29); IV 2.34 (0.66, 0.14, 0.67, 0.47, 0.40). Leg formula: I-IV-II-III. Male palp ( Figs 8 View FIGURE 8 A–B, 9A–B): bulb yellowish, globular; embolus curved, sickle-shaped and approximately 0.5 the length of bulb. Opisthosoma oval, yellowish, covered with long setae.

Female (one of the paratypes). Similar to male in coloration and general features, but with a smaller body size and shorter legs. Total length 1.08. Prosoma 0.44 long, 0.32 wide. Opisthosoma 0.60 long, 0.50 wide. Sternum 0.20 long, 0.23 wide. Palp and leg measurements: palp 0.41 (0.13, 0.05, 0.08, –, 0.15); I 2.52 (0.67, 0.14, 0.72, 0.47, 0.52); II 2.32 (0.66, 0.14, 0.65, 0.47, 0.40); III 2.16 (0.62, 0.14, 0.56, 0.44, 0.40); IV 2.49 (0.68, 0.15, 0.68, 0.48, 0.50). Leg formula: I-IV-II-III. Genital area ( Fig. 10 View FIGURE 10 F) with a row of setae on epigynal plate. Spermatheca ( Figs 8 View FIGURE 8 C–D, 11A–B), bean-shaped.

Variation. Total length: males: 1.22–1.27 (n = 9); females: 1.08–1.11 (n = 7).
