4. Teloplatypus ustulatus (Chapuis, 1865) View in CoL . Ambrosial, oligophagous. Specialist on legume hosts. Generic reassignment by Wood (1993). Based on an earlier misidentification, most published records of Teloplatypus excisus (Chapuis) from Mexico refer to this species. Widespread in lowland tropical areas from southern Mexico to Argentina and Brazil.
