Distribution: — Mexico (Chis, Gro, Oax, Ver), Guatemala, Belize, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Cuba, Jamaica, Haiti, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Lesser Antilles, Colombia, Venezuela, Trinidad, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia.

Ecology:— Epiphytic (often on tree ferns); in Los Tuxtlas area and central Veracruz in montane rain forests between 1050–1660 m .

Conservation status: — Least Concern ( LC) in Veracruz. Known from three recent collections and several specimens from central Veracruz and Los Tuxtlas area. However , their montane rain forest habitat, especially in central Veracruz, is still under high anthropogenic pressure. Specimens examined: 15; TK collections: 3 .
