A distinctive tesserocerine, 8X as long as wide, from southern Central America and northern and central South America. One reported to me, from: Madre de Dios, Tambopata, Los Amigos Biol. Sta., −12.4492°, −70.2517°, 258 m, sample Peru 78a, 60 cm dia trunk ( MSUC-1 ), 3–9 May 2008, S. M. Smith and

J. Hulcr ( MSUC). Photographs sent me of a male and a female from: Junín, 15 km NW from Satipo, Río Venado village environs, 1,300 m, window trap, −11.2811°, −74.7686°, 3.X.2015, A. Petrov ( AVPC) .
